What is the Helmet Heroes World Record attempt?
Helmet Heroes Thailand is attempting to set a Guinness World Record for the largest number of helmets distributed to children in a single event. Tara Pattana International School is one of the participating schools helping us reach our goal of 5,555 helmets. Every donation directly funds a helmet for a child who needs one.
How much does it cost to fund a helmet?
Each helmet costs ฿700. That's the minimum donation. You can fund multiple helmets in a single donation — for example, ฿3,500 funds 5 helmets. Every helmet you fund is counted toward the World Record total.
How do I sponsor a specific participant?
Use the donation form above. Enter the participant's first name, first letter of their surname, and grade — this keeps their full identity private while still crediting them on the leaderboard. Your sponsorship will appear under their name once your payment is confirmed.
What payment methods are accepted?
We accept Credit and Debit Cards (Visa, Mastercard, Amex) via Stripe's secure checkout, and PromptPay QR transfers. Card payments are confirmed instantly. PromptPay payments are verified manually each morning and appear on the leaderboard within 24 hours.
How does the PromptPay matching work?
When you submit the form and choose PromptPay, a unique reference code (e.g. HH-TPIS-2847) is generated for you. Transfer the exact amount shown via PromptPay and include your reference code in the transfer note. We check transfers each morning and match them to your form submission using that code.
Will I receive a receipt or certificate?
Yes — after a successful card payment, a personalised Helmet Heroes certificate is automatically generated and emailed to the address you provided. Please allow a few minutes for delivery and check your spam folder if you don't see it. PromptPay donors receive their certificate once the payment has been manually verified.
Is my donation tax-deductible?
Helmet Heroes Thailand is a registered non-profit organisation. Please contact us at info@helmetheroesthailand.org for an official donation receipt if you require one for tax purposes. Requirements vary depending on your country of residence.
How do I know my payment was received?
Card payments are confirmed instantly — you'll see a thank-you screen immediately and receive a certificate by email. For PromptPay, submit the form first to get your reference code, make the transfer, then click "I've Paid — Submit." Your donation will appear on the leaderboard within 24 hours of verification. Can businesses or organisations donate?
Absolutely. Enter your company or organisation name in the donor name field. Corporate donations are recognised on the leaderboard and your team will receive a certificate. For large donations or sponsorship packages, please reach out to us directly at info@helmetheroesthailand.org.
