Contest Rules, in Plain English

1. Who's running this

This contest is run by Helmet Heroes Foundation, Inc. (we call ourselves "Helmet Heroes" or "we" from here on). We're a non-profit working on motorcycle helmet safety for kids in Thailand. The contest exists to spread the word about what we do — the bigger our audience, the more helmets we can put on heads.

2. Who can enter

• You must be at least 13 years old — that's TikTok's minimum age too. If you're 13–17, please ask a parent or guardian before entering.
• You can enter from anywhere in the world. Prize fulfilment may depend on your location (some prizes can only ship to Thailand — we'll say so up front when a contest runs).
• Employees and direct family of Helmet Heroes Foundation, Inc. can't win. Sorry, Mum.
• You need a real, public TikTok account to participate. Private accounts can't be verified by us.

3. How to enter

Each of these counts as an entry. Do as many as you like:

• Follow @SavvyRickBrown on TikTok.
• Watch one of our videos to the end.
• Like a video.
• Comment on a video (something real — emoji spam doesn't count, see disqualification below).
• Share a video with a friend or to your own feed.

No purchase necessary. There is nothing to buy and you don't need to donate to enter or win.

4. Entries per person

Enter as many times as you want. Each genuine action (a real comment, a real share, watching a different video) counts as one entry. More entries = more chances to win. But please don't try to game it — see section 11.

5. When it runs

The contest is ongoing while it's posted on this page. Specific giveaway windows (e.g. "win a helmet this month") will be announced on our TikTok or on the Rewards page when they happen, with clear start and end dates. If you're entering for a specific giveaway, the entry window for that giveaway closes at the end date and time we post.

6. What you can win

Prizes vary by giveaway and will be listed on the corresponding TikTok post or the Rewards page. Past examples include TIS-certified helmets, branded merch, vouchers from sponsor partners, and a chance to be featured on our channel.

All prizes are awarded as-is, no cash alternative, no transfer to another person, no refund. If a prize becomes unavailable for any reason, we may substitute a prize of equal or greater value at our sole discretion.

7. How winners are picked

Winners are selected at random from the pool of valid entries, unless a specific giveaway says otherwise (e.g. "best comment wins" — in which case our team judges based on the criteria stated). Our decision is final.

The odds of winning depend on the total number of entries received for each giveaway.

8. How winners get notified

Winners are contacted by direct message on the TikTok account they entered with, within 14 days of the giveaway closing. If we can't reach you, or you don't reply within 7 days, we'll pick another winner. Sad, but that's the rule.

To stay safe: we will never ask you for a password, your full payment-card number, or money to "release" a prize. If anyone messages you claiming to be us and asks for any of that, it's a scam. Report it and move on.

9. Claiming your prize

To claim your prize you'll need to provide a name, an email or phone number, and a shipping address (for physical prizes). If you're in Thailand, we'll ship it. If you're outside Thailand, we'll let you know whether we can ship internationally or whether we'll arrange a digital substitute.

You're responsible for any taxes that apply in your jurisdiction. For most prizes that won't be anything, but for high-value items it could be.

10. TikTok is not involved

This contest is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with TikTok. We just happen to run our content there. Any questions, comments, or complaints about the contest should come to us, not them.

11. What gets you disqualified

We reserve the right to disqualify any entry or entrant if we believe they're acting in bad faith. Examples:

• Using bots, scripts, fake accounts, or paid-engagement services to inflate entries.
• Spam comments (e.g. "🔥🔥🔥" pasted 50 times). Real engagement only.
• Harassing, hateful, or NSFW comments — instant disqualification.
• Trying to impersonate someone else.
• Violating TikTok's own community guidelines (TikTok may also remove your content; we can't help with that).

If you win and we later find out you broke these rules, we can revoke the prize.

12. Your privacy

To verify entries we check public TikTok engagement (likes, comments, follows, shares) on the relevant videos — the same things any TikTok user can see. We don't pull data from your private DMs or your other social accounts.

If you win, we collect your name, contact info, and shipping address (for physical prizes) only to deliver the prize. We keep records of past winners for our own accounting and to make sure the same person doesn't win every time. Full details in our Privacy Policy.

By participating, you agree we can post the username of the winner on TikTok and on our site. We won't post your real name or contact details unless you explicitly say it's OK.
